Not Going Quietly Circle
This gathering is intended to create a space of empowerment, energy, grace, community, and wisdom for individuals who are 60+ years young. The name of this group was inspired by the book Do Not Go Quietly: A Guide to Living Consciously and Aging Wisely for People Who Weren’t Born Yesterday by George & Sedena Cappannelli.
Meeting Information: This circle meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm.
Team Leaders: Sharon Conklin-Starr, Penny Tarr, & Rev. Anna Scott
An evening gathering consisting of meditation and blessings. Are you already part of the “consciousness crowd” that is emerging across the planet? Then you are in the right spot! Oneness Blessing, also known as Deeksha, will push you further into higher states of consciousness on your Conscious Awakening Journey. It is a unique and gentle process that surges the creative force dwelling in us and activates the shift of Awakening that raises the brain to its highest potential, moving a person from lower brain to higher brain activity. This is the place where joy, abundance, peace, and connectedness reside. Deeksha is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning “benediction,” the benediction of Awakening.
Meeting Information: This circle meets on Sundays, directly after service in the front row. See our calendar for other events.
Power Up! Goddess Circle, for all women
The Power Up! Goddess Circle is an opportunity to create a community of healing around the topics of shame and fear, and to develop courage, compassion, and connection.
Monthly gatherings will utilize books, videos, written exercises, and guided discussions to delve deeply into these many topics. Confidentiality will be paramount to ensure a safe and trusting environment for sharing.
Meetings are held first Saturday of each month, from 10:00 am to Noon at Center for Spiritual Living Grand Junction. Bring your coffee/tea/water and an open heart as we embark on this wholehearted journey of being ourselves. Love offerings are welcome to offset costs for any materials provided and in gratitude for the meeting space provided.
