4/18  Active Mindfulness with Rev. Dr. Carla Ryan –  Join Rev. Dr. Carla Ryan in an evening of Active Mindfulness, a Creative Meditation practice.  This will be a time to be consciously aware of the world around and within us. It will also be an opportunity to go to that blissful, creative space through simple exercises and activities. We’ll experiment with open-eyes/closed-lips meditations in an effort to be IN the world and yet not OF it. Also included will be various frequencies of music to release deep and, perhaps unconscious, pain and negativity. Come… play… have fun… and explore another mid-week Meditation Sampler at Center for Spiritual Living Grand Junction.

4/25   Crystal singing bowls with Kate – Join us for an exploration of sound, energy, and other vibrational healing modalities using the Special Alchemy series of singing bowls, which are made from pure quartz crystals combined with various gemstones and minerals.  You don’t need any background or experience in meditation; just an openness to “listen” with your whole body.

5/2   Oneness with Rev Patty – A Calm Mind in these accelerated times – the Oneness meditation is a very specific meditation bestowed by Oneness University in India to quiet the mind and open the heart.  It has lasting benefits!  Rev. Patty Rumpza will be leading this meditation.

5/9   I AM with Beverly Aden–I Am that I Am is one name among many names for God.  This name was given when Moses asked “who shall I say sent me”.  Since God, the I Am, lives within us, the I Am Meditation consciously affirms who we  are.

5/16  Meditation in the Islam Tradition with Rev. Anna–This is a meditation that a Muslim (or anyone) uses to relax and recover from stress. It is a meditation to relax the body and release some of the worries of the day. It also functions as an affirmation, reminding the reader of the love and peace that Allah offers us, as well as a reminder of our true Divine Nature.

5/23  Taize’ with Rev Patty and Rev Anna– A Taize’ style service includes music, readings and candles. It is a time to rest in Spirit, to let the words listened to and sung penetrate one’s being.

5/30   Crystal singing bowls with Kate Fotopoulos–Join us for an exploration of sound, energy, and other vibrational healing modalities using the Special Alchemy series of singing bowls, which are made from pure quartz crystals combined with various gemstones and minerals.  You don’t need any background or experience in meditation; just an openness to “listen” with your whole body.

6/6   Power of Eight Meditation – Debby Powell RScP–This meditation is based on the book The Power of Eight by Lynne McTaggart. In this meditation sampler, we will learn how to harness the collective energies of The Power of Eight and unleash the power we all hold inside to heal our own lives – and the world around us.

6/13  Chanting with Deb Smith
